Each of our dorms are named after famous Maori chiefs from Northland’s past…
- Rahiri
- Kupe
- Hone Heke
- Hongi Hika
- Tama
You can learn more about these Maori chiefs and feel connected to the history of the area while you are here.
Our dorms sleep a maximum of 6 people in the busy season but we try to keep it to no more than 4. In most cases we aim not to put you on a top bunk unless you prefer that.
- The dorms are super cozy with their own locked door.
- We have super comfy mattresses to help you sleep well!
- All beds are made up with fresh linen (changed for free weekly)
- In your dorm room you will also find a table and seating so you can mix with your fellow travellers or catch up on the letters home.
- There is a fridge allocated for your room in our purpose built food storage room as well for your convenience.
- Showers and toilets, laundry, kitchen & TV room are only a short walk away – all under a covered walkway.
- Towels are available to hire.
